Memory of Ms. Bowers

My early work was influenced by a painting teacher while I was a student at the University of Oregon. Cheryl Bowers, who had a one-year residency, was so inspiring. I loved her work and thought about her paintings for years. When I decided to contact her and thank her years later, I found she had passed away. This painting is in memory of her.
